urrgh, bought a blouse off ebay which i don't really want any more but the seller is pestering me for the money. this half term has been so very loose. today i had the hangover to end all hangovers, it was focused right in the pit of my belly and every step i took i felt ever closer to vomiting. walked up past the marina to take some pictures of some plastic flowers tied to a post in memoriam for dean nokes, aged 29. can't be bothered with grammar or punctation in this post as is already evident. i haven't done any work. i feel idiotic at the moment, like a big old fool. i can't control certain things i say or do and i wish i could because it would make me a cool and aloof person. ha. unfortunately i know i will never be either of those things, at least i can aim to not utterly humiliate myself so frequently. that's probably more do-able.

Hallo. Found a Gary Numan tape in my house today, spent most of the day bopping to 'cars'. Gary Numan is great, he's a pop star AND he has a pilot's license. Met up wtih Sash for coffee, nattered away and then whisked off to James' to help him with his uni work which was GREAT fun, obviously, because I love digital music with a firey passion.Ate chinese food and watched 'Rosemary & Thyme'. 10th of march ( my DJing debut) draws scarily closer. I begging to baby jesus that I don't fuck it up. On Wednesday I have an eye test, I hope to get a new pair of spectacles, even bigger than the last, I'm sure you are thinking "No, that's impossible, how can her glasses get any bigger?" Well you'll just have to wait in anticipation for the next installment of my fascinating life.

James has apparently managed to get me a DJ slot at the next 'Where to now?' at the Penthouse. This is either incredibly exciting or incredibly scary or won't end up happening at all. I also feel bad because I so want Grace to DJ with me. I suppose I choose exciting, although I am only allowed to play songs from 1976 to 1984. I hope I have enough records. Might buy some tap shoes today if I can be bothered to get up and get out.

I have, once again, over-indulged on ebay. Went to a fancy dress party last night, it was quite fun but there were lots of people there who I didn't expect to see, which spun me out a little bit. Mostly it was good though. I feel quite fuzy today. Tuesday was The Fisherprice Landmine's first ever gig. It went incredibly well. I was miss proudpants indeed.

James has glandular fever. It's really upsetting to see him so ill. I'll try to visit him every day until he gets better.

Went to 'THE DO' on friday night after Maisies loverly loverly birthday dinner. It is sickeningly pretentious, the people there are so obsessed with how they look that half of them don't even dance. Aaaaaargh. But I did bump into this well nice girl who went to Gala's party with Harry Potter girl. Dyed my hair yesterday, was fed up of the shit non-colourness.

HIya, I'm ill. Actually that reminds me, there's a girl in my art class whos name is pronounced exactly like 'hiya'. When I had to chat to her during the 'getting to know each other' activity I got quite confused (as did she) because I started off with 'Hiya, I'm Merida, what's your name?'. Yeah, so I am NOT feeling well. I may do some baking in a bit to cheer me up. Now I've forgotten why I was updating in the first place. Watched a film yesterday called 'Mysterious Island' made in the early 60s, it was all giant crabs and submarines and oufits fashioned out of animal skins.

I DONT LIKE LEARNING AND I DONT LIKE COLLEGE. That's a lie. I actually had a pretty good day today, I'm just not used to having to "switch on" and I enjoy whinging too much to stop yet, it's how I start conversations. Art today was good fun. I haven't really got much else to say. Oh some boy from my primary school called Hamish is in my English class, Mads remarked on how that was a peculiar name for someone who is black.

Im living in filth. There's a tea stain on my floor.. .
and my clock/ashtray has lost it's batteries amongst the mess...

I should really clean up before it's too late and I get trapped in a prison of dirt and disaray.

Last night I went to see Mi and L'au at the Prince Albert. It was amazing. It's sweet when couples make music together, even if they are a bit of a creepy looking couple.
James is teaching me to play the ukelele which is fun. Also, I start college on Monday, not officially but I meet my tutor, who is apprently called Tina. Nice. Not much else to report. I've had a really lovely week. I still have a bottle of wine from the party on saturday, it's probably undrinkable.

| The day-to-day trials of a disgusting, drunk, underage mess |
[28 Jul 2006|02:31pm] |
I'm getting aggy because I can't read my messages on myspace. how patheteek.
had a "party" the other night, all went well i think. There was a strange incident with some sorbet-obsessed individuals ( i didnt know them) who returned the next day, ate my sorbet and left without barely uttereing two words to me, maggie and grace. the worst thing about that was that they walked in on us drinking at about 3 in the afternoon, not wildly dignified.
went to audio last night, as i did tuesday night. ohhhh dear, i all ready feel a bit audioed out. Before that, horse, wheezycakes and trines joined 'Mezzie, Maggie and Grazzie' at my house for a BBQ and a continuation of the drinking. We watched sugar rush which we all lovvvvvvvved a ridiculous amount. Mads dancing around in her underwear.
its grace, maggie and horse's last day before they go to jersey. im going to be distraught without them.

Ha! I just found a bunch of blank CDs. Life is sweaty. But good.

That is what comes up when you search 'Bernard' on google. Delightful.

I'm reading this new book called The Plague by Albert Camus. There's this really funny bit where the doctor goes to this mans house and fins this written on the door: COME IN, I'VE HUNG MYSELF
I probably just have a sick sense of humour but I laughed for ages.

My angular glasses make me feel like Supernanny aka a child-friendly dominatrix.
I don't suppose anyone saw "The root of all evil?" Well if you did then good on you, if not then you missed out, Richard Dawkins is super.
Also, I have a spare Beth Orton ticket up for grabs, if anyone's interested.
